Export ideas are hosted in acceleration centers and use the facilities of the center and the seed support of the Presidential Vice-President for Science and Technology. This ultimately transforms ideas into export startups and facilitates the entry of knowledge-based companies into international markets.
Tehran also hosted the first export acceleration center in the country. This branch was opened in cooperation with the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions of the Presidential Vice-President for Science and Technology and the Chamber of Commerce for Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, and the establishment of three other branches in three provinces of the country is also under consideration.
In this joint cooperation, the provision of space will be carried out by the Chamber of Commerce for Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, and the Presidential Vice-President for Science and Technology will also support the equipping and operation of the centers.
The head of the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions of the Presidential Vice-President for Science and Technology also said: On the other hand, these centers are intended to be a place for the establishment of companies, agents and service complexes for knowledge-based companies.
For example, the Export Development and Technology Exchange Corridor, the Export Development Fund, the Export Development Bank, the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran, other research and technology funds active in the field of financing, companies active in the field of digital marketing, and companies active in the field of market research can provide knowledge-based companies with services to facilitate the path of export development while establishing themselves in these centers.
Holding business meetings between Iranian companies and foreign parties at the location of these export acceleration centers, holding specialized training workshops, providing mentoring and consulting services by the Chamber’s network of merchants and businessmen to knowledge-based companies are other services provided in these centers.
