The Knowledge-Based Companies Pavilion at the 9th Kenya Agriculture and Related Industries Exhibition was held from 13 to 17 June 2024 by the Iranian Innovation and Technology House in Kenya (iHiT) and with the support of the Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
In this pavilion, 16 Iranian knowledge-based companies in various agricultural fields, including agricultural drones, satellite monitoring technology, hybrid seeds, organic fertilizers, bovine embryo technology, food industries and packaging, introduced their products and capabilities at the 9th Kenya Agriculture Exhibition (Afritech Africa).
The 9th Kenya Agriculture Exhibition was held with the participation of more than 20 countries around the world and with the aim of filling the gaps in this ecosystem. This event was a great opportunity to showcase the latest technologies acquired by Iranian knowledge-based companies and to strengthen business connections in this field abroad, especially on the African continent.
Necessary arrangements for holding business meetings and negotiations with major private and public sector clients in Kenya, visits to farms and factories active in this field, are some of the services provided to these companies.
Iran’s strong presence for the first time in this international event was met with a great welcome by activists and players in the country’s agricultural sector.
