The Center for Convergent Technologies of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology has issued a call for proposals to expand these businesses in the country. Last year, the first call was published under the title “Support for Biodata Businesses (NGS Data)” and this year, the second call.
Accordingly, technologists have until September 31 of this year to submit their technological projects to register their projects through the innovative calls menu on the website of the Center for Convergent Technologies. These projects must be in the field of biodata.
This call has been issued in collaboration with the three Presidential Centers for Development and Progress, the Biotechnology Development Headquarters of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, and the Strategic Center for Convergent Technologies of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology.
Holding training courses on applied business topics, providing assessment, consulting and mentoring services along the way to product development, granting cash facilities for business development and helping to attract capital are among the facilities and supports considered in this call. Of course, projects and products that have the capacity to become a sustainable business are supported.
The support of the call is of a material (smart facilities) and spiritual nature, including consulting and participation in training courses until reaching a commercial product and sharing technology developers and business developers or manufacturers. Material support (smart facilities) is systematic in such a way that projects that meet the necessary conditions successfully pass the call stages.
Also, the submitted projects enter the in-person stage after final evaluation and judging. Projects that successfully pass the in-person judging stage will be given the opportunity to develop their product and business, if needed, and will be supported. These projects will be re-evaluated after completing this stage.
