Holding a knowledge-based entrepreneur event at the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology

The closing ceremony of the export experience-oriented event “Knowledge-based Trader” was held at the Iranian Technology and Innovation House with the support of the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development Organization and the Export Development and Technology Exchange Fund.

According to the Public Relations Report of the Export Development and Technology Exchange Fund, Dr. Mirabadi said at the closing ceremony of the export experience-oriented event (Knowledge-based Trader): “At the beginning of the discussions on the formation of this event, several issues were raised regarding the title and phrase “knowledge-based trader for exports”, a phrase that had previously been felt to be lacking in the discussion of knowledge-based exports.”

The head of the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development Organization, stating that the knowledge-based and trade spaces are different from each other and have different conditions, continued: “Most companies face challenges in the trade space, and investors are one of the needs of knowledge-based companies to be present in the trade space and the market.”

Mirabadi added: “The knowledge-based company environment is a completely different environment, so we are looking at the topic of knowledge-based entrepreneur because knowledge-based entrepreneur is a new job title and creates new opportunities in the field of trade.”

The head of the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development Organization noted: “The knowledge-based entrepreneur discussion provides two services to the country’s knowledge-based ecosystem. First, it creates new job opportunities and knowledge-based companies can grow and develop. Second, it brings the international business environment and export environment closer to reality.”

Emphasizing that the knowledge-based entrepreneur program should be developed and replicated in parallel in the country, he said: “We should not wait for this period to end and the next period to begin. We should also use the capacity of these people and implement this program in parallel in other provinces of the country.”

The head of the Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation, referring to this path, said: “This path is very valuable. During the few months that this program has been implemented, we have had very good feedback from responsible officials in various meetings. This shows that the program has been seen in the country. People who have entered this path, because it is the first program, are supported to achieve the desired outcomes.”
