Introducing the Iranian Innovation and Technology House in Kenya (iHiT)

In line with its export goals, the Export Development and Technology Exchange Fund launched the Iran Innovation and Technology House in Kenya (iHiT), as an export base for Iranian products in February 2020. This base was opened in Nairobi, the capital of the country, as a gateway to the East African market.
By providing the necessary infrastructure for Iranian and Kenyan companies and startups, the Iran Innovation and Technology House (iHiT) seeks to create a suitable platform for greater business communication and technology transfer between the two countries. Since the Export Development and Technology Exchange Fund is recognized as the export agent of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and the Presidential Vice-President for Science and Technology, knowledge-based companies that are members of this export base can benefit from all the support of the knowledge-based ecosystem.
