The First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria visited the permanent exhibition of knowledge-based export products iHiT

On Tuesday, January 11, 2021, the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ms. Ismaou Suleiman Salehu Lemo, visited the Permanent Exhibition of Export of Knowledge-Based and Creative Products and Services (iHiT) as part of a trade delegation.
Iran Innovation and Technology House (iHiT), in line with its goals and missions, which is the development of the foreign market for knowledge-based companies, hosted a Nigerian trade delegation on this day. Nigeria, a country in West Africa with a population of over 200 million, is the most populous country on the continent. Due to its geographical location and common border with Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin, as well as a religious composition of a semi-Muslim and Christian population, it has great potential for the market for Iranian knowledge-based products.
In this visit, which was coordinated by the Tehran International Exhibition Joint Stock Company, the First Secretary of the Embassy of Nigeria, along with businessmen from the country, visited various sections of the exhibition. During this visit, which was attended by the CEO of the Export and Technology Exchange Development Fund and the agents of the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions, knowledge-based products and services were introduced to the visitors and various issues in the field of exporting Iranian knowledge-based and creative products, establishing an exhibition of knowledge-based products, and a joint commercial and trade base with the Nigerian side were discussed and reviewed.
The CEO of the Export and Technology Exchange Development Fund, while expressing the capacities and achievements of knowledge-based companies in exporting construction industries, advanced materials, medicine, electronics, and creative industries such as toys, games, etc., introduced the top export companies in these fields. At the end of the visit, it was decided that Ms. Salehholmu would visit the specialized Iranian toy showroom, continue cooperation to supply the knowledge-based products needed by Nigeria through iHiT agents, and utilize the scientific and commercial capacities of both parties.
